  4.    This is simply a set of !Sprites (hi-res) which are designed to COMPLIMENT
  5. Acorn's hi-res sprites.
  6.  
  7.    When the RiscPC was brought out, I was dismayed to find out that Acorn
  8. still use 2D icons. So, I designed a set of 3D ones, and added a nice tiling
  9. effect on them (ie !NewLook). Here's the final result.

  11.    As well as the icons themselves, I have included a set of directory
  12. sprites. If you don't want to run these, then simply edit the !Run file
  13. (the easiest way is to put a | character at the beginning of the line). To
  14. see the directory sprites, you need to be running a program which supports
  15. them. e.g. FilerPatch, DeskPatch, Desktop+ (I personally prefer FilerPatch
  16. by Jens H. Ovesen - recommended).

  18.    This program works best if, as well as the 3D sprites, !NewLook by Acorn
  19. is run to give 3D windows too. Although the sprites are designed for hi-res
  20. monitors, the icons can still look effective when run on a low res.
